Christine's father is dead, and her mother has assumed management of the family business, Lakewood Lodge. One day, a reclusive writer arrives with a peculiar request: no one is allowed to enter his room for any reason. Christine's mother is willing to accommodate him because she needs his money, but Christine is suspicious. Her worst fears are confirmed when she accidentally overhears a conversation: murder is on the agenda, and Christine doesn't know how to stop it.

Synopsis: The year is 1972. Fourteen-year-old Agnes has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She has no treatment options until Peterson, a brilliant scientist, offers to give her an experimental drug. Agnes is counting on him to save her life, but he has other ideas.

Natalie’s Storm is my current work in progress. It’s about two teens, Maya and Paul, who become unexpected allies when a hurricane threatens their small southern town. Before the story begins, Maya’s sister Natalie has joined a cult without saying goodbye, and Paul’s mother has sent him to live with his grandparents without telling him why. While Maya and Paul look for answers about their families and struggle to survive after the hurricane, they discover truths about themselves—and about each other—that they never imagined.

Natalie’s Storm explores the themes of faith, hope, and love. It’s a contemporary Christian thriller with elements of mystery and romance, and its atmosphere is similar to that of my first series, the Silvertree Series. I hope to publish Natalie’s Storm in January!

I live in Louisiana, and writing is my favorite hobby. It all started when I used to tell stories to my little sister. I began jotting down outlines and scenes when I was in high school, and I completed my first (very bad) novel during college. After much practice, effort, and advice, I finally got up the courage to share my writing with others. In August 2020, I published my first novel, The Patient from Silvertree. Five months later, I published the sequel, The Scientist’s Daughter. The experience has been exhilarating at times and discouraging at times, but I love these books for every milestone they have reached, and hearing feedback from readers always brightens my day.
